Léo Lam 6763a3fce1 Config: Add support for enums
This makes it possible to use enums as the config type.
Default values are now clearer and there's no need for casts
when calling Config::Get/Set anymore.

In order to add support for enums, the common code was updated to
handle enums by using the underlying type when loading/saving settings.

A copy constructor is also provided for conversions from
`ConfigInfo<Enum>` to `ConfigInfo<underlying_type<Enum>>`
so that enum settings can still easily work with code that doesn't care
about the actual enum values (like Graphics{Choice,Radio} in DolphinQt2
which only treat the setting as an integer).

Léo Lam 7dca7c237e Config: Fix template deduction for implicit conversions
This excludes the second argument from template deduction.

Otherwise, it is required to manually cast the second argument to
the ConfigInfo type (because implicit conversions won't work).

e.g. to set the value for a ConfigInfo<std::string> from a string
literal, you'd need a ugly `std::string("yourstring")`.

SDCardUtil: Remove the use of IOFile's GetHandle() function
GetHandle() should really not even be part of IOFile's interface, but
since it is (for the time being), we can cull unnecessary usages of it.
In this case, the WriteBytes() function does what we need without using
the underlying handle directly.

BitUtils: Add C++14/C++17 compatible equivalent of std::bit_cast from C++2a
Given bit conversions between types are quite common in emulation
(particularly when it comes to floating-point among other things) it
makes sense to provide a utility function that keeps all the boilerplate
contained; especially considering it makes it harder to accidentally
misuse std::memcpy (such as accidentally transposing arguments, etc).

Another benefit of this function is that it doesn't require separating
declarations from assignments, allowing variables to be declared const.
This makes the scenario of of uninitialized variables being used less
likely to occur.

Léo Lam 8317a66ea5 NandPaths: Return paths that are relative to Wii NAND
Since all FS access will go through the new FS interface (PR #6421)
in order to keep track of metadata properly, there is no need to return
absolute paths anymore.

In fact, returning host paths is a roadblock to using the FS interface.

This starts the migration work by adding a way to get paths that are
relative to the Wii NAND instead of always getting absolute paths
on the host FS.

To prepare for future changes, this commit also makes returned paths
canonical by removing the trailing slash when it's unneeded.

Eventually, once everything has been migrated to the new interface,
we can remove the "from" parameter.

Léo Lam 0856d4a68a SysConf: Migrate to new filesystem interface
It was discovered that some titles rely on filesystem metadata to work
properly. Currently, in master they either simply won't find their
save files (for example Bolt) or will complain about the Wii system
memory being corrupted (on first use or every time depending on
the title).

In order to even be able to keep track of file metadata, we first need
to eliminate all direct accesses to the NAND and make all kinds of
operations go through the filesystem code added in PR 6421.

This commit starts the migration process by making SysConf use
the new FS interface.

This is the large change in the branch.

This lets us use either the host filesystem or (in the future) a NAND

behaves identically. Less duplicated code.

Note that "FileIO" and "FS" were merged, because it actually doesn't
make a lot of sense to split them: IOS handles requests for both
/dev/fs and files in the same resource manager, and as it turns out,
/dev/fs commands can *also* be sent to non /dev/fs file descriptors!
If we kept /dev/fs and files split, there would be no way to
emulate that correctly. I'm not aware of anything that does that (yet?)
but I think it's important to be correct.

Lioncash 7926a0c814 Use __func__ instead of __FUNCTION__ where applicable
This replaces usages of the non-standard __FUNCTION__ macro with the standard
mandated __func__ identifier.

__FUNCTION__ is a preprocessor definition that is provided as an
extension by compilers. This was the only convenient option to rely on
pre-C++11. However, C++11 and greater mandate the predefined identifier
__func__, which lets us accomplish the same thing.

The difference between the two, however, is that __func__ isn't a
preprocessor macro, it's an actual identifier that exists at function
scope. The C++17 draft standard (N4659) at section [dcl.fct.def.general]
paragraph 8 states:

"
The function-local predefined variable __func__ is defined as if a
definition of the form

static const char __func__[] = "function-name ";

had been provided, where function-name is an implementation-defined
string. It is unspecified whether such
a variable has an address distinct from that of any other object in the
program.
"

Thankfully, we don't do any macro or string concatenation with __FUNCTION__
that can't be modified to use __func__.

Ideally Common.h wouldn't be a header in the Common library, and instead be renamed to something else, like PlatformCompatibility.h or something, but even then, there's still some things in the header that don't really fall under that label

This moves the version strings out to their own version header that doesn't dump a bunch of other unrelated things into scope, like what Common.h was doing.

This also places them into the Common namespace, as opposed to letting them sit in the global namespace.

JosJuice 09f3f9b41a Remove NonCopyable
The class NonCopyable is, like the name says, supposed to disallow
copying. But should it allow moving?

For a long time, NonCopyable used to not allow moving. (It declared
a deleted copy constructor and assigment operator without declaring
a move constructor and assignment operator, making the compiler
implicitly delete the move constructor and assignment operator.)
That's fine if the classes that inherit from NonCopyable don't need
to be movable or if writing the move constructor and assignment
operator by hand is fine, but that's not the case for all classes,
as I discovered when I was working on the DirectoryBlob PR.

Because of that, I decided to make NonCopyable movable in c7602cc,
allowing me to use NonCopyable in DirectoryBlob.h. That was however
an unfortunate decision, because some of the classes that inherit
from NonCopyable have incorrect behavior when moved by default-
generated move constructors and assignment operators, and do not
explicitly delete the move constructors and assignment operators,
relying on NonCopyable being non-movable.

So what can we do about this? There are four solutions that I can
think of:

1. Make NonCopyable non-movable and tell DirectoryBlob to suck it.

2. Keep allowing moving NonCopyable, and expect that classes that
   don't support moving will delete the move constructor and
   assignment operator manually. Not only is this inconsistent
   (having classes disallow copying one way and disallow moving
   another way), but deleting the move constructor and assignment
   operator manually is too easy to forget compared to how tricky
   the resulting problems are.

3. Have one "MovableNonCopyable" and one "NonMovableNonCopyable".
   It works, but it feels rather silly...

4. Don't have a NonCopyable class at all. Considering that deleting
   the copy constructor and assignment operator only takes two lines
   of code, I don't see much of a reason to keep NonCopyable. I
   suppose that there was more of a point in having NonCopyable back
   in the pre-C++11 days, when it wasn't possible to use "= delete".

I decided to go with the fourth one (like the commit title says).
The implementation of the commit is fairly straight-forward, though
I would like to point out that I skipped adding "= delete" lines
for classes whose only reason for being uncopyable is that they
contain uncopyable classes like File::IOFile and std::unique_ptr,
because the compiler makes such classes uncopyable automatically.

The opagent library was (incorrectly) marked as a dependency for "Core"

When linked with --as-needed, any symbols the linker can tell are not
used are discarded. As the link is done in command-line order, and the
Core library (and dependencies) are processed before Common, it would
link in Core, then opagent, but as at that point no opagent symbols are
used the whole opagent library would be discarded.

Moving the opagent library to be a dependency of Common fixes this, as
after the Common library is linked, there *are* opagent symbols used.

Léo Lam 940cc843ed Config: Fix Movie config loading/saving
* Add missing Language setting loading/saving. This was added after the
  original OnionConfig PR, which is why support for it was missing.

* Change MovieConfigLoader to reuse ConfigInfos. Less duplication.

* Extract MovieConfigLoader::Save into SaveToDTM. The DTM should use
  the current config and not just the movie layer. This makes more
  sense than just saving the movie layer, which may not always exist,
  and also fixes a crash that would happen when creating a new
  recording because the movie layer wouldn't exist in that case.

  (Plus, having to get the loader from the layer and call ChangeDTM
  on it manually is not very pretty.)

The Config::AddLoadLayer functions call Load on the layer
explicitly, but Load is already called in the constructor,

Jonathan Hamilton 184e4d7b4a Fix an incorrect OES suffix on glMultiDrawElementsBaseVertex
The spec says it should have an EXT not OES suffix, as it's enabled as
an interaction with GL_EXT_multi_draw_arrays.

On some drivers GetProcAddress() returns NULL, which causes the
GLExtensions init to fail

This 'happened' to work if GetProcAddress() doesn't return NULL on missing
functions (as allowed in EGL) - as the function appears to never be called so
this would not have been noticed.

Mesa also (incorrectly?) exports the EXT version, so this would all
happen to work there, but appears to be contrary to the spec.

This invalid prefix even ended up in the upstream khronos registry, the
issue was reported here:

thought); instead, it looks like it's actually part of the main data,

Getting it wrong and always storing a null byte in there won't affect
most entries (since the last byte is zeroed most of the time), except:

- IPL.NIK: the length is stored in the last byte, and it must be kept.
- BT.DINF: u8 unknown[0x45] should be another Bluetooth device entry.
- Possibly other unknown affected entries.

JosJuice 5ca3aee00a FileUtil: Add a class for Exists/IsDirectory/GetSize
Some code was calling more than one of these functions in a row
(in particular, FileUtil.cpp itself did it a lot...), which is
a waste since it's possible to call stat a single time and then
read all three values from the stat struct. This commit adds a
File::FileInfo class that calls stat once on construction and
then lets Exists/IsDirectory/GetSize be executed very quickly.

The performance improvement mostly matters for functions that
can be handling a lot of files, such as File::ScanDirectoryTree.

I've also done some cleanup in code that uses these functions.
For instance, some code had checks like !Exists() || !IsDirectory(),
which is functionally equivalent to !IsDirectory(), and some
code was using File::GetSize even though there was an IOFile
object that the code could call GetSize on.

This rewrites the SysConf code for several reasons:

* Modernising the SysConf class. The naming was entirely cleaned up.
  constexpr for constants.

* Exposing less stuff in the header.

* Probably less efficient parsing and writing logic, but much simpler
  to understand and use in my opinion. No more hardcoded offsets.
  No more duplicated code for the initial SYSCONF generation.

* More flexibility. It is now possible to add and remove entries,
  since we rebuild the file. This allows us to stop spamming
  "section not found" panic alerts; we can now use and insert
  default entries.

Léo Lam b08653d69d Common: Add a std::optional implementation
std::optional makes a few things a bit neater and less error prone.
However, we still cannot use C++17 (unfortunately), so this commit
adds an implementation of std::optional that we can use right now.

Based on https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/blob/master/tensorflow/core/lib/gtl/optional.h
which seems to be fairly similar to C++17's <optional> and standards
compliant. It's one of the few implementations that handle propagating
type traits like copy constructibility, just like libc++/libstdc++.

Lioncash 46d74a7760 IniFile: Make Section's string constructor instances take strings by value
As the name is immediately stored into a class member, a move here is a
better choice.

This also moves the constructor implementations into the cpp file to
avoid an otherwise unnecessary inclusion in the header. This is also
likely a better choice as Section contains several non-trivial members,
so this would avoid potentially inlining a bunch of setup and teardown
code related to them as a side-benefit.

If the delimiters of a memory aren't exactly the same as an address, but their size includes the memory breakpoint delimiter, the break will not go through. This makes it so that you can specify a search for a memory breakpoint with a data size and will check if the data fits with that size on all memory breakpoints so the breaks go through.

Lioncash 552c0d8404 Common: Move byte swapping utilities into their own header
This moves all the byte swapping utilities into a header named Swap.h.

A dedicated header is much more preferable here due to the size of the
code itself. In general usage throughout the codebase, CommonFuncs.h was
generally only included for these functions anyway. These being in their
own header avoids dumping the lesser used utilities into scope. As well
as providing a localized area for more utilities related to byte
swapping in the future (should they be needed). This also makes it nicer
to identify which files depend on the byte swapping utilities in
particular.

Since this is a completely new header, moving the code uncovered a few
indirect includes, as well as making some other inclusions unnecessary.

Léo Lam abe6f8766a Config: Add a few helper functions for repetitive tasks
Getting and setting configuration from the base config layer are common
and repetitive tasks. This commit adds some simpler to use functions to
make the new system easier to work with.

Config::Get and Config::Set are intended to make switching from
SConfig a bit less painful. They always operate on the main system.

Example usage:

    // before
    auto base_layer = Config::GetLayer(Config::LayerType::Base);
    auto core = base_layer->GetOrCreateSection(Config::System::Main, "Core");
    u8 language;
    core->Get("Language", &language, 0);
    SetData("IPL.LNG", language);

    // now
    auto base_layer = Config::GetLayer(Config::LayerType::Base);
    auto core = base_layer->GetOrCreateSection(Config::System::Main, "Core");
    SetData("IPL.LNG", core->Get<u8>("Language", 0));

    // or simply

Phil Christensen 2ed61b0ee1 C++ conformance fixes (MSVC /permissive-)
We (the Microsoft C++ team) use the dolphin project as part of our "Real world code" tests.
I noticed a few issues in windows specific code when building dolphin with the MSVC compiler
in its conformance mode (/permissive-). For more information on /permissive- see our blog
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/vcblog/2016/11/16/permissive-switch/.

These changes are to address 3 different types of issues:

1) Use of qualified names in member declarations

    struct A {
        void A::f() { } // error C4596: illegal qualified name in member declaration
                        // remove redundant 'A::' to fix
    };

2) Binding a non-const reference to a temporary

    struct S{};

    // If arg is in 'in' parameter, then it should be made const.
    void func(S& arg){}

    int main() {
      //error C2664: 'void func(S &)': cannot convert argument 1 from 'S' to 'S &'
      //note: A non-const reference may only be bound to an lvalue
      func( S() );

      //Work around this by creating a local, and using it to call the function
      S s;
      func( s );
    }

3) Add missing #include <intrin.h>

Because of the workaround you are using in the code you will need to include
this. This is because of changes in the libraries and not /permissive-

Without this, attempts to savestate std::set will fail with an error
about dropping the const qualifier.

<Lioncash> leoetlino: I'll try to break it down: So, when you do a
 ranged-for on a container, it's essentially syntactic sugar over begin
 and end iterators. std::set is an associative container where the key
 type is the same as the value type, and so it's required that all
 iterator functions return constant iterators. If this wasn't a
 requirement, it would allow changing the ordering of elements from
 outside of the set's API (this is bad).

Lioncash 0a6f0dfb74 Common: Add bit utility header
This attempts to make some bit arithmetic more self-documenting and also
make it easier during review to identify potential off-by-one errors by
making it possible to just specify which bits are being extracted.

Functions both support the case where bits being extracted can vary and
fixed bit extraction. In the case the bits are fixed, compile-time asserts
are present to prevent accidental API usage at compile-time.

e.g. Instead of shifting and masking to get bits 10 to 15,
Common::ExtractBits<10, 15>(value) can just be done instead.

Lioncash 045a8400e6 IOFile: Make the move constructor and move assignment operator noexcept
Certain parts of the standard library try to determine whether or not a
transfer operation should either be a copy or a move. The prevalent notion
of move constructors/assignment operators is that they should not throw,
they simply move an already existing resource somewhere else.

This is typically done with 'std::move_if_noexcept'. Like the name says,
if a type's move constructor is noexcept, then the functions retrieves an
r-value reference (for move semantics), or an l-value (for copy semantics)
if it is not noexcept.

As IOFile deletes the copy constructor and copy assignment operators,
using IOFile with certain parts of the standard library can fail in
unexcepted ways (especially when used with various container
implementations). This prevents that.

Windows-1252 was sometimes being referred to as ASCII or ANSI

Western systems, but can also be something entirely different).

The commit also replaces "SJIS" with "Shift JIS". "SJIS"
isn't misleading, but "Shift JIS" is more commonly used.

aldelaro5 549060c5b4 Label debugger memchecks as "Memory Breakpoints" in the GUI
This is done to remove confusions among potential debugger users and to also make it more accurately tell what this feature is actually doing. Despite being true that it is using a memcheck (and it certianly checks that memory), the idea being to break on a memory access isn't really obvious especially considering that memchecks are also used in full MMU emulation to handle exceptions. It also doesn't help that memchecks are now supported in every builds.

It also changes the corresponding log because this log would be wanted by the user which means it should be more obvious that it was caused by the "memory breakpoint".

The "real" SYSCONF section is now backed up before being replaced with

Info should be logs that report potentially usefull information and debug should report info that would only be usefull in debug context as they are called very often. To make this work, a lot of info log would have to be made debug log.

It also avoid inaccurate logs level done due to not using debug builds. While searching through the code, I saw a ton of logs that should have been info log, likely done to avoid using a debug build (which shouldn't happen considering the level debug exists anyway).

The whole idea is to have more meaningful logs in release builds while maintaining minimal performance loss from choosing the highest level. This could potentially help to diagnose issues or to know more about what the emulator is actually doing.

The next commit aims to sort the log levels for this purpose.

magumagu d557310371 Support for dynamic BAT modification (dynamic-bat).
Fundamentally, all this does is enforce the invariant that we always
translate effective addresses based on the current BAT registers and
page table before we do anything else with them.

This change can be logically divided into three parts. The first part is
creating a table to represent the current BAT state, and keeping it up to
date (PowerPC::IBATUpdated, PowerPC::DBATUpdated, etc.). This does
nothing by itself, but it's necessary for the other parts.

The second part (mostly in MMU.cpp) is simply removing all the hardcoded
checks for specific untranslated addresses, and consistently translating
addresses using the current BAT configuration. Very straightforward, but a
lot of code changes because we hardcoded assumptions all over the place.

The third part (mostly in Memmap.cpp) is making the fastmem arena reflect
the current BAT configuration. We do this by redoing the mapping (calling
memmap()) based on the BAT table whenever it changes.

One additional minor change is that translation can fail in two ways:
either the segment is a direct store segment, or page table lookup failed.
The difference doesn't usually matter, but the difference affects cache
instructions, like dcbz.

Anthony J. Bentley 5bab6210ef Use the standard stat()/fstat() interfaces, not nonstandard *64().
Most modern Unix environments use 64-bit off_t by default: OpenBSD,
FreeBSD, OS X, and Linux libc implementations such as Musl.

glibc is the lone exception; it can default to 32 bits but this is
configurable by setting _FILE_OFFSET_BITS.

Avoiding the stat64()/fstat64() interfaces is desirable because they
are nonstandard and not implemented on many systems (including
OpenBSD and FreeBSD), and using 64 bits for stat()/fstat() is either
the default or trivial to set up.

CScript must be run as 64-bit regardless of the MSBuild bitness. Otherwise it won't find 64-bit Git installations.
However the "Sysnative" redirector is not available for 64-bit processes. So a fix is needed when 64-bit MSBuild is run.
The "ProgramFiles(x86)" Macro is only set for 64-bit, otherwise it is empty. Therefore it can be used as condition to check whether the current MSBuild process is 32 or 64-bit.

comex 659d079d5c Fix in-tree build (cmake .) on OS X.
OS X uses a case insensitive filesystem by default: when I try to build,
a system header does #include <assert.h>, which picks up
Source/Core/Common/Assert.h. This only happens because CMakeLists adds
'${PROJECT_BINARY_DIR}/Source/Core/Common' as an include directory: in
an out-of-tree build, that directory contains no other source files, but
in an in-tree build PROJECT_BINARY_DIR is just the source root.

This is only used for scmrev.h. Change the include directory to
'${PROJECT_BINARY_DIR}/Source/Core' and the include to
"Common/scmrev.h", which is more consistent with normal headers anyway.

EmptyChaos c1922783f8 Core: Threadsafety Synchronization Fixes (Frame Advance / FifoPlayer)
Fix Frame Advance and FifoPlayer pause/unpause/stop.

CPU::EnableStepping is not atomic but is called from multiple threads
which races and leaves the system in a random state; also instruction
stepping was unstable, m_StepEvent had an almost random value because
of the dual purpose it served which could cause races where CPU::Run
would SingleStep when it was supposed to be sleeping.

FifoPlayer never FinishStateMove()d which was causing it to deadlock.
Rather than partially reimplementing CPU::Run, just use CPUCoreBase
and then call CPU::Run(). More DRY and less likely to have weird bugs
specific to the player (i.e the previous freezing on pause/stop).

Refactor PowerPC::state into CPU since it manages the state of the
CPU Thread which is controlled by CPU, not PowerPC. This simplifies
the architecture somewhat and eliminates races that can be caused by
calling PowerPC state functions directly instead of using CPU's
(because they bypassed the EnableStepping lock).

bool is not always guaranteed to be the same size on every platform.
On some platforms it may be one byte, on others it can be 8 bytes if the
platform dictates it. It's implementation-defined.

This can be problematic when it comes to storing this
data to disk (it can also be space-inefficient, but that's not really an
issue). Also say for some reason you moved your savestates to another
platform, it's possible they won't load correctly due to differences in size.

This change stores all bools to savestates as if they were a byte in size
and handles the loading of them accordingly.

Ryan Houdek 184a7a3e0d Include the EGL defines we need for KHR_create_context ourselves.
This is because Google decided it was in their best interest to update eglext.h for android-21/arch-arm only and completely neglect all the other
architectures.
Sucks to suck.

Ryan Houdek aed693eded Implement shared contexts in the EGL context.
This is being implemented here first under EGL since the infrastructure is already in place for this due to the Android code requiring some bits.
The rest of the interfaces will come in a little bit.

This will be required for threaded shader compiling in the near future.

Stenzek 617f9d9532 ShaderGen: Remove virtual methods from ShaderGeneratorInterface, move string buffer to ShaderCode
This fixes the crashes occuring at startup with a non-empty shader cache.
Because LinearDiskCache reads/writes to the storage of ShaderUid, ShaderUid must be trivially copyable.
Additionally, adds a static assert to LinearDiskCache to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.

The initialization of ShaderUid data has been moved to the code generation functions, so the above condition holds true.

This removes some nonsense in the extension loader where under an ES context we would still pull all function pointers and just continue onward if we
fail to pull one.
