Added Haunting Ground to the list of games that get their post processing automatically removed.
The game still shows a badly blended fog but is otherwise nicely playable now.

Hacks are from an unknown coder. Thanks for figuring it out! ;)

Add 2 attributes to the interfaces functions
 - externally_visible: avoid gcc to remove the function when lto is enabled 
 - visibility("default"): default == public... Allow to hide all others symbols: see http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/Visibility for details

onepad:
* Remove __cplusplus define, everythings is in C
* define 2 interfaces functions with EXPORT_C_ instead of CALLBACK.

cmake:
* add recent added .h files
* add fvisibility optimization. Plugins size was reduced of ~10% much more than expected :)

Jake.Stine 912872af80 Introducing a mostly revamped Tracelog and Console log system. Various console log sources can now be toggled on/off on the fly, allowing end users to enable more verbose logging when they encounter problems. Both console and trace sources can be given automatic prefixing.
DevNotes:  DevCon logs are now available in *Release* builds as well as Devel builds, and can be enabled from the Console window's "Sources" menu.  They are disabled by default in Release builds, and are always enabled regardless of the ini setting in devel builds.  Debug logs are still strictly available in debug builds only.

Move the dx11 check to GSInit, didn't like it only getting called on renderer changes in the middle of emulation.

PCSX2:
Report the savestate version as hex if loading an incompatible state. Looks better than -19793434481 :p

Jake.Stine b6af82efa8 GSdx / zzogl-pg / pcsx2:
* Implemented support for legacy GS plugins (considered anything prior to the Reordering merge).
 * Added a lot of 'const' qualifiers to the GSgifTransfer functions in both GSdx and zzogl.

DevNote: GS plugins shouldn't be modifying the data provided to them from PCSX2 -- zzogl wasn't, GSdx was.  I had to do a little bit of juggling to remove the mem modifications from GSdx's TEX0/TEX2 handlers.  With luck, nothing's broken. ;)

Jake.Stine 856ffe4c65 Merge optimizations and code cleanups from the ReorderingMTGS branch (r3523) into Trunk. Summary of changes:
* GIFpath parsing copies as it parses (speedup!)
 * Improved memcpy for 128-bit copies (speedup!)
 * MTGS ringbuffer uses free-flowing wrapping now, which simplified ringbuffer management logic considerably (speedup!)
 * Various MTGS-related refactoring (var renames and such)

Jake.Stine f2d637a6e0 zzogl-pg:
* Removed extern "C" and applied static const to s_clut16 vars.  Should be fine since the old x86.S files that needed extern "C" have been removed from zzogl.
 * Fixed a compilation error in Win32/Debug builds.
 * Changed some references of DEVBUILD ZEROGS_DEVBUILD.  Not sure if all of them should be changed over or not, so I just stuck to some of the more obviously correct bits.

gregory.hainaut 4a23585a55 [zzogl]: asm work. Asm was totally broken. At least in release build.
* use volatile keyword to avoid gcc removing the function...
* Use name variable in asm code instead of %n
* Fix constraint on s_clut16mask. There are input, not output...

Arcum can you look at this 2 things thanks.
-> code is still broken in one place. s_clut16mask & s_clut16mask2 
re null in the code generated by gcc ! To fix it (do not know why), we can declare them as static. But I'm not sure
on the impact and I can not test windows...
-> s_clut16mask is declared as a 256bits numbers instead of 128 !

Jake.Stine e85da0dfe1 GSdx: Add support for the new hack-free GSgifTransfer callback, which will supercede the various hacky GSgifTransfer1/2/3 callbacks in use now. This version of GSdx will be *REQUIRED* by PCSX2 soon.
DevNote for zzOgl coders: Implementation of this callback can just double up on m_path[0].  I used a separate instance at m_path[3] mostly because it was easier than trying to fight around the existing PATH1 nloop hack, which is still needed for backward compat with existing and earlier versions of PCSX2.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR LINUX USER: the "main" pcsx2 configuration is moved from $HOME/.pcsx2 to $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/pcsx2 (or $HOME/.config/pcsx2 if xdg var is not defined).
A first time wizard is expected. Just import you previous settings.

gigaherz 6857acbadf SPU2-X: Voices used for modulation are not supposed to be played out loud. The actual modulation could still be wrong, but at least it will avoid annoying sounds to be played (e.g. Romancing SaGa main menu).

gigaherz c6ad0e52b5 Remove the AutoDMA buffer hack, using its own allocated space as it's supposed to.
If there's any regression we should look at what CAUSES it, instead of hacking it back.

Jake.Stine 81c35c9fcc Many small memoryleak fixes in PCSX2 (mostly related to newVIF's recompiler) and one memoryleak fixed in USBnull. Had to juggle around the initialization/reset code for VIF a bit to get it happy. This also removes quite a bit of redundant memory allocations and clears when starting/resetting the emulator; expect a small speedup on slower machines.

ramapcsx2 e6580d4b82 SPU2-X:
Added the Async Mix mode to the configuration dialog. 
Users can select between Timestretch, Async Mix or no sync now.
There's a warning for the Async mode, as it breaks games that can't cope
with a variable speed SPU2.

SVN revision users:
Please remember to delete your SPU2-X.ini when switching to this revision (to clear the Sync mode setting).

Linux:
It's missing GTK implementation yes (global vars are already changed though), sorry :p

GSDx: Reset device on save state load.
GSDx: Made GSRenderer::ResetDevice() actually do the main function in its name and implemented InvalidateTextureCache().  If anything breaks, it's because of this change.

Since the automatic detection fails on some systems, this is the next best option.

Committing a patch by KrossX3 that should fix the stereo expansion option for *most* people.
Of course on my setup it fails to grab the correct number of speakers, so will have to think about it..
The code is correct though, so it should fix it for some people :p

arcum42 00f7cde4e0 zzogl-pg: Copy all the old zerogs patches that used to be in the patches folder into zzogl (minus the FF X ones, as the FFX hack is no longer relevant). Commented out right now, because I'm not sure how many of these are even useful any more.

32-bit depth buffers for D3D9 users if available.  Lots of code shuffling for reasons I don't even remember.  Stuff.  Pretty much just the 32-bit depth buffers.  That's good though, you don't have to envy D3D10 users half as much now.

ramapcsx2 575a56dc5c Changed the FFX speedhack to also set all EE timed events to happen near instantly.
This is now a multi purpose hack, which could potentially fix / break a lot of games.
It mostly affects FMV and PATH3 masking issues, but also stops games from booting, or makes them boot.
Use with caution :)
