Stephen Kitt 96348a42b5 Use a native version in the Debian changelog 
Since the Debian packaging specifies a native package, the version in
the changelog must not include anything after the upstream version.

Keeping this as a native package makes it easier to build from the git
repository (no need for an upstream tarball).

Stephen Anthony 49a11e2ce1 Updated PNG and ZLIB libraries to latest released versions. 
Since Zlib 1.2.10, it seems that zlib and png need to be paired
together.  The UNIX 'configure' script has been updated to either use
system png and zlib libraries, or both as built-in libraries.  This
shouldn't affect Windows (which uses both built-in anyway), but it
does require changes to OSX (which currently doesn't build at all).

stephena e352b3a6bb Updated PNG library to latest version 
Decided that the next version will be 4.5, since it requires new compilers
and, in the OSX case, a newer version of the OS.

stephena 6bba77e3d6 I'm going to release 4.0 now, since the two remaining features may take 
another month to complete, and it's already been 6 months since the last
release.  And those remaining features have nothing to do with the SDL2
conversion ...
