This commit adds support for compiling Dolphin for ARM on MacOS so that it can
run natively on the M1 processors without running through Rosseta2 emulation
providing a 30-50% performance speedup and less hitches from Rosseta2.
It consists of several key changes:
- Adding support for W^X allocation(MAP_JIT) for the ARM JIT
- Adding the machine context and config info to identify the M1 processor
- Additions to the build system and docs to support building universal binaries
- Adding code signing entitlements to access the MAP_JIT functionality
- Updating the MoltenVK libvulkan.dylib to a newer version with M1 support
Fixes https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/12388. Might also fix
other games that have problems with float/paired instructions
in JitArm64, but I haven't tested any.
Begins the transition to using fmt for string formatting where
applicable. Given fmt supports formatting std::string instances out of
the box, we can remove now-unnecessary calls to .c_str() and .data().
Note that this change does not touch the actual logging subsystem aside
from converting the final StringFromFormat call in the process over to
fmt::format. Given our logging system is heavily used throughout the
entire codebase, and converting that over will be quite a large change
by itself, this will be tackled near the end of the conversion process.
We weren't dropping a newline character from the string, we were cutting off the last character of the hardware name.
This fixes my TK1 being called 'lagun' when it's name is 'laguna'
If a CPU string was incapable of being found we would return a null pointer, which would crash with strncpy.
Also if we couldn't get a CPU implementer we would call free() to a null pointer.
In addition, detect 64bit ARM running.
