information. See https://spdx.github.io/spdx-spec/1-rationale/ . SPDX
tags are adopted in many large projects, including things like the Linux
kernel.

Use std::istringstream or std::ostringstream instead of std::stringstream where possible.
...
This removes std::iostream from the inheritance chain, which reduces
overhead slightly.
