From 2466feca2dcf9654a3529172a6bcc8d0d809a835 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: AmbientMalice Date: Sun, 8 Mar 2015 12:30:17 +1000 Subject: [PATCH] "Fixed" Infernal Machine (U) sound. Okay, so it turns out that the (U) version of Infernal Machine *hates* the settings that provide good audio for the (E) version. (I have no clue why I didn't notice this until now.) After a lot of dicking around, I found that AI=540 provided a usable compromise, where the sound is in synch and doesn't crackle like crazy. The problem is that the main menu music is now too fast. None of the other Factor 5 games behave this way. In an ideal world the (U) version would be placed into a refrigerator and have a small atomic device detonated next to it. Until PJ64 gets proper audio synch or Azimer does something magical, I don't see that version working properly. --- Config/Project64.rdb | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/Config/Project64.rdb b/Config/Project64.rdb index 48373bd24..7fa39bf50 100644 --- a/Config/Project64.rdb +++ b/Config/Project64.rdb @@ -3021,14 +3021,14 @@ Good Name=Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (U) Internal Name=Indiana Jones Status=Issues (mixed) Core Note=Recompiler Trading Post freeze. -Plugin Note=[rsp] interpreter only +Plugin Note=[rsp] interpreter only [audio] wrong speed;use(E)ROM 32bit=No Counter Factor=1 RDRAM Size=8 FuncFind=1 HLE GFX=No ViRefresh=2200 -AiCountPerBytes=785 +AiCountPerBytes=540 RSP-JumpTableSize=3584 SMM-Cache=1 SMM-FUNC=0
