A lot of changes have been made since the last stable release, so performance and compatibility is much higher on the latest nightly builds, plus a new interface. Unless you are running windows 8.1 or below, we recommend using the nightly release. Constant changes are always made on the latest nightly builds, so performance and compatibility is much higher compared to the latest stable release which is updated several times a year only. If you encounter any issues then we recommend rolling back to the latest stable release.
