The Samsung Galaxy S3 is known for doing this - it reports a 60Hz refresh rate when it isn't (the Note 2 for instance has a 58Hz screen but at least reports it correctly). So, because it 'reports' a wrong refresh rate, the option 'Synchronize refresh rate to screen' will not yield good results.\n\nIf you experience any audio pops on cores that should be running fullspeed on your device, you should go with manual synchronization. To do this, turn off 'Synchronize refresh rate to screen' and set 'Forced refresh rate (Hz)' - start at 59.94/59.95.
